Naver 1784 is Naver's new office building located in Pangyo. 1784 is also the branch number of Pangyo, where Naver is located, and it is the year when the first industrial revolution began. Under the slogan "Where Innovation Becomes a Reality," it features a three-beat space: Tech Convergence, New Norma, and Eco. If the office has focused on providing a comfortable work environment, 1784 goes one step further and provides a platform for researching and experimenting with new things.
The world's first robot-only "roboport" technology was introduced in the elevator of Naver's office building. This technology is a key robot transport equipment that allows more than 100 robots to call a dedicated elevator and interact with the elevator to get on and off on their own through Naver's ARC (AI, Robot, Cloud) system. The system features a variety of advanced technologies, including route algorithms with a maximum height of 128 m and a maximum speed of 90 mpm, collision avoidance and robot interlocking prediction waiting systems.
In addition, the elevator design has a simple stainless steel beadblast finish that harmonizes with future-oriented architecture. In consideration of robot linkage and user convenience, the elevator signal design of Naver's office building has a customized design that harmonizes with the architectural design such as Cube LED, SMART TOUCH OPB, and DSS kiosk.
