The new escalator at Sinnam Station on Daegu Subway Line 3 is the longest escalator in Korea.  The escalator connects three underground levels and two aboveground levels, totaling 57 meters in length, without any transfers.  For the convenience of passengers, Daegu Metro has 585 escalators on Lines 1, 2, and 3, the largest number of escalators among local governments and companies in the Daegu Gyeongbuk region.
