Utilizing two proximity sensors, one for short-range and one for long-range, to accurately distinguish hand gestures of visually impaired individuals for precise floor registration gestures only.

Providing Push Function

Applicable even for the handicapped elevators for whom the conventional 90, 94 buttons are not compatible

Providing the same push functionality as regular buttons, preventing discomfort for passengers unfamiliar with touchless buttons.

During normal operation

The finger is sequentially detected as it passes through the long-range sensor (25mm distance from the button surface) and then the short-range sensor (5mm distance from the button surface)

Hand's tactile action (recognition for visually impaired individuals)

The following scenarios result in button-touching recognition, leading to floor registration through button pressing rather than sensor detection

- When the passenger's finger is rapidly detected by both sensors

(within 55ms of long-range sensor detection followed by short-range sensor detection)

- When detected simultaneously by other floor sensors in the vicinity
